Rosie
Our gentle survivor with a nubbin paw!
Rosie came to us with a difficult past. She was found in Davie with a severely injured hind leg from a farming accident. Fortunately, she kept her leg, though her paw had to be amputated, leaving her with a small nubbin. Despite her injury, Rosie has adapted beautifully, moving with quiet confidence among her feline friends.
She has been with us for over seven years and remains cautious around humans. We respect her boundaries, balancing gentle socialization efforts with giving her space to feel secure. When the room is quiet, Rosie often lies in the middle, resting or snuggling with other cats — her calm presence a daily reminder of resilience and quiet strength.
